Marycel Tamayo, Stylist

Marycel is an independent stylist who has been part of the Les Beaux et Belles team since June 2020.

Marycel Tamayo, born and raised in Winnipeg discovered her dream to become a hairdresser at the age of 7. After graduating high school she quickly enrolled in post-secondary education at Scientific Marvel Beauty school. Her passion for hair became evident as she enjoyed competing at live hair shows. In 2014 Marycel won Manitoba Stylist of the year from the Mirror Awards – Canadian Hairdresser Magazine. She was a loyal hairstylist at Élan Hair Studio for 15 years and has recently ventured out to work independently out of Les Beaux et Belles.

Marycel offers a range of hair services from haircuts and styling for special occasions, hair coloring, balayage, color corrections, keratin treatments, and extensions. All with the wonderful products like Schwarzkopf Professional and Kevin Murphy.  Marycel continues to provide her clients with hair that only looks great but also suits their lifestyle.

During Marycel’s time off, she enjoys working out, watching a good Netflix series and hanging out with her family.
